Location: Southampton – Totton
Salary: Up to £70,000 + bonus and benefits

We have an excellent opportunity for a driven Optometrist to join our thriving Southampton‑Totton store. You will join a highly successful and energetic team who work together to ensure our patients receive an excellent experience and you will also benefit from an engaging, supportive and approachable leadership team.

Our store has 3 optical test rooms and is fully equipped with the latest clinical equipment and technology including OCT and Nidek Phoropters. We are looking for an Optometrist who is a team player and can adapt well in a busy store. We are passionate about the clinical and professional development of our team and as our new Optometrist we want to support you every step of the way. There are many areas to explore – the Specsavers Partnership scheme (Pathway) as well as extra courses and specialisms that may interest you.

What We’re Looking For

Our Optometrists provide eye examinations and a contact lens service that meet high clinical standards as well as strict NHS guidelines. Equally, they provide every customer with clear advice and the peace of mind that comes with being in expert hands. To be part of our team, you’ll need to provide the same unique blend of customer care and professional excellence – which will make a big impact on the store’s overall success.

As a professional, you’ll be an expert at putting people at ease and welcoming customers with a naturally personable approach. You will talk customers through the eye examination process and through their options. You must be passionate about what you do with an aptitude for organisation – which means you keep accurate records and always have up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest developments in your field.
