A well-known optical retailer in Tees Valley is looking for an Experienced Optical Assistant to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will have previous optical experience, strong customer service skills, and a passion for the brand. Responsibilities include creating a positive store environment and dispensing optical products. This role offers great training, development opportunities, and competitive salary options based on experience. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Experienced Optical Assistant

So, you’re a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our stores need? Sounds like you’d be a great fit here. So, if you’ve had previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you.
As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our store

Based in Middlesbrough, our store is looking for someone with previous optical experience that can dispense all levels to join their committed and friendly team.

What we’re looking for?

  • Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service and making customers’ lives easier

  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Prepared to step out of your comfort zone and try something new
  • Able to receive feedback and be open to development, knowing we’ll be there to support and guide you throughout your process (with your openness and our guidance, your opportunities will be endless).
