Overview

Responsible for performing the clerical and administrative functions for hub and station operational areas, including linehaul, records management, quality assurance and customer service. Tends to damaged and incorrectly addressed packages in a timely manner to optimize delivery time. Serves as a customer’s first line of contact for a variety of issues.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clerical and administrative functions for hub and station operations (linehaul, records management, quality assurance, customer service).
  • Tend to damaged and incorrectly addressed packages to optimize delivery times.
  • Serve as the customer’s first line of contact for resolving a variety of issues.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two (2) years of customer service, clerical or related experience required; experience in a dock operations environment or distribution center setting preferred
  • General business skills such as typing, data entry and review; use of phone, copier, and fax
  • Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications
  • Customer service skills to effectively and professionally respond to requests
  • Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills to work in a fast-paced environment, manage changing priorities, and maintain high attention to detail and accuracy
