As Operations Administrator you will play a key role in enabling your team to support international students to feel welcome and make the successful transition to life at Leeds, and you will help all students to benefit from being part of our global campus community. You will provide high quality administrative support across a broad range of operational, project and team activities, including our International Arrival Support services. Duties will include office management; taking responsibility for human resources, purchasing, finance, and health and safety processes; using your high‑level MS Office skills to support event, project and logistics management; organising meetings and taking minutes; enquiry handling, customer service and liaising with internal and external partners; supervising student staff; and contributing to the ongoing development of effective services, processes, systems and procedures.

Having previously worked in an administrative role, you will have experience of supporting a team and the ability to provide excellent customer service and work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines. You will enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and be sensitive to individual needs. You will be joining a team that takes pride in creating a welcoming and supportive working environment.

This role will require some out‑of‑hours work, along with working early starts/late finishes and up to 10 consecutive days during the main 3‑week arrival period in September, with shorter periods of working these hours during the Arrivals periods in January and June/July (occasionally at other times).
