Variable Onboard Sales and Services Assistant - Holyhead £12.21ph

We need welcoming, caring and reliable Onboard Sales and Services Assistants – people who will ensure our guests have such a wonderful experience on board, that they can’t wait to sail with Stena Line again!

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring cabins are cleaned thoroughly and in excellent condition prior to our guests’ arrival on board.
  • Making sure our diners have a fantastic experience by delivering prompt and friendly service, clearing tables, and washing dishes as needed.
  • Working the tills and handling customer requests, while ensuring that our shops are clean, tidy and well‑stocked.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, meeting service standards and CSS goals.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, including service standards and customer experience models.
  • Oversee stock and cash control, adhering to procedures to minimise wastage, shrinkage, and fraud.
  • Maintain merchandising plans across all locations.
  • Uphold corporate policies, including safety, quality, and food safety standards.
  • Represent the company with pride by adhering to uniform and personal presentation standards.
  • Create a welcoming environment with a focus on ambience and overall vessel appearance.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Support operational tasks across various locations and departments as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the vessel, using specified materials and guidelines.
  • Maximise sales and gross profit by aligning activities with KPI targets.

Requirements
  • Experience working in any of the following sectors: hospitality, customer service, housekeeping or catering
  • Be willing to work away from home for up to two weeks at a time
  • Over 18 years old
  • UK NI number and UK Bank account
