A leading office support firm in Wolverhampton seeks an experienced office assistant to manage phone calls, perform clerical tasks, and maintain office supplies. Responsibilities

  • Receives all incoming telephone calls and directs them appropriately.
  • Provides general clerical duties like photocopying and faxing.
  • Processes compliance related forms for status updates.
  • Works collaboratively to process clearances for returning field staff.
  • Assists with audits by pulling employee related files.
  • Retrieves and organizes supplies in the basement.
  • Assists in the preparation and logging of all supplies.
  • Maintains a safe and secure work environment.
  • Participates in special projects as assigned.

Overview

The office assistant performs a variety of office services duties related to daily office operations. Receives direct incoming telephone calls to appropriate staff in a timely, responsive manner.

Responsibilities
  • Receives all incoming telephone calls. Takes and completes messages and/or directs such calls to appropriate staff.
  • Provides general clerical duties (i.e., photocopies, faxes and collates materials).
  • Processes compliance related forms for status updates, such as; in-active status, reactivation status and termination forms.
  • Works collaboratively internally to process clearances for field staff who are requesting to return to work.
  • Assists internally with audits, such as pulling employee related files.
  • Retrieves and storing supplies in the basement, keeping it organized and secure.
  • Assists in the preparation, processing and logging of all supplies.
  • Assure a safe, clean, secure, and properly maintained work environment.
  • Performs a variety of office support functions related to maintaining the office.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
  • Work Experience: Minimum two years’ experience.
  • Preferred: Effective oral/written/interpersonal communication skills required; Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment required

Pay Range: USD $17.49 – USD $21.80 /Hr.
