A leading occupational health provider in the UK is seeking a qualified Occupational Health Advisor. The role offers a blend of case management, health surveillance, and flu vaccinations, allowing for both on-site and remote work. The ideal candidate will have experience in occupational health, strong communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients. This position also includes a competitive salary, employee-ownership bonus scheme, and a supportive team environment.
Hybrid - Client Sites (Dover) / Canterbury Clinic / Remote
We’re looking for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor who can deliver a blend of case management, health surveillance, and seasonal flu vaccinations. This is a varied role with the opportunity to work both on-site and remotely.
The role will include:
1 day per week at a client site in Dover.
1 day per fortnight at a client site near Dover.
1-2 days per week/fortnight working flexibly between:
Remote case management
Occasionally visiting other client sites or our Canterbury/London clinics
If you enjoy variety, are comfortable working both independently and as part of a supportive clinical team, and like the idea of being involved in health promotion as well as core OH services, this could be the perfect role for you.
To be considered, you’ll need to:
Have at least 1 year’s experience in an OHA role including management referrals and health surveillance.
Be qualified (or working towards) your Specialist OH Qualification (part 3 on the register).
Be flexible, adaptable, and approachable, with a “can do” attitude.
Have strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people from all backgrounds.
Be confident using IT systems (we’ll support you to learn our systems).
Immunisation experience is a bonus, but not essential – training can be provided.
It's also a bonus to have a full UK driving license and have your own transport, however as long as you are willing and able to regularly travel to Dover and Canterbury, as well as other client sites as required, this is not essential.
All applicants will need to be DBS cleared and reference checked due to the sensitive and confidential nature of our work.
