Overview

Full Time 0-3 Year Old Nursery Manager for January 2026. All Year Round (49 weeks per year) FT Role. PCD8(A) £32,061 (£16.61).

The governors of Eaglesfield Paddle CE Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, hardworking and passionate Early Years specialist, to lead our new nursery. This vacancy is a rare opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to lead our “Little Paddlers” 0-3 year old Nursery under the guidance of the Early Year’s Leader.

Responsibilities
  • Encourage all around you to “be the best they can be, because God is with you in all that you do”
  • Follow safeguarding standards outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together to Safeguard Children
  • Welcome and build lasting positive relationships with new families to our school
  • Work with 0-2 year olds
  • Provide a homely and nurturing environment for the “Little Paddlers”
  • Nurture a love of learning
  • Plan exciting and effective provision to meet the needs of all children in line with Development Matters
  • Be an excellent early year’s practitioner with high expectations, committed to inclusion through a nurturing and caring environment
  • Work within a strong and dedicated team with aspirations for all
  • Work closely with outside agencies and the SENDCo to provide the best provision possible
  • Demonstrate creative and inclusive provision to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Model clear and effective behaviour management strategies
  • Involve parents, maintain strong church links and the wider community in the life of the school
  • Value the importance of outside learning to inspire and motivate
Qualifications
