Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering and membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Engineering experience in a nuclear environment, including accidental Equipment Qualification.
  • Ideally have familiarity with PWR nuclear systems and international EQ standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support EQ Lead in coordinating mechanical equipment qualification activities.
  • Perform seismic assessments of structures, systems, and components.
  • Manage suppliers and physical qualification testing based on equipment complexity.

Skills

Knowledge of UK codes, standards and regulatory requirements
Expertise in mechanical component design
Experience with risk assessment methods
Excellent communication skills

Degree in Mechanical Engineering
