About The Role

We are recruiting for a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer at our AMK Fresh site in Peterborough.

We are looking for a truly Multi‑Skilled engineer to join our Night Shift operations on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing business at our state‑of‑the‑art food facility which we opened in 2020.

You will work on our modern equipment, with regular investment being made into new production line installations, as well as updating machinery we are using on our already established lines.

This gives you the exposure to enhance your knowledge further and we also invest in our Engineers to improve expertise to be able to support the development them and the effectiveness of the Engineering function.

You will be experienced in working on various equipment including conveyors, heat sealer, netting and flow wrapping machines, coding and labelling machines.

You will be working strongly with our Production Teams to pass on knowledge and collaborate to increase efficiency of machines and allow Machine Operators to contribute actively to the performance of our lines and reduce downtime.

About You

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a high volume, fast moving environment
• Formal Electrical qualifications in Engineering, i.e. NVQ Level 3, Engineering Apprentice or Food and Drink Apprenticeship Standard
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude and outlook to internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of driving continuous improvement activities
• Experience in maintaining standard industry machinery including conveyor belt systems, bucket fillers and strapping machines.
