Qualifications

• Experience in HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, or related sectors.
• Certified to Level 3, C&G, NVQ or equivalent in vehicle maintenance.
• Time served HGV Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining Trucks and Vehicles.
• Carry out safety inspections, prepare vehicles for MOT.
• Perform fault diagnostics and road test vehicles.

Skills

Previous experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic

Technical knowledge for maintenance and repairs

Fault diagnosis skills

Ability to carry out safety inspections

General computer literacy

Full UK driving licence

Education

Recognised apprenticeship or training program in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance
