Join our dedicated team at Medivet Enfield 24-Hour Hospital and take your nursing career to the next level.As a Part Time Night Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in a busy emergency and inpatient care environment, supported by an experienced and friendly clinical team. This is a part time night role working Monday to Friday 8pm until 2am plus one bank holiday a year.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide variety of cases, develop your ECC skills, and make a real impact on the lives of pets and their owners when they need it most. That’s the care for our patients, our clients and for each other – we really want to make a positive difference through every interaction we have.In this role you will:* Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.* Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.* Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.* Deliver patient monitoring and care.* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.* If relevant: Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.* Dispense and check medication.* Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.* Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.**Your Skills and Experience*** RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.* Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.* Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.* Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.* Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.Medivet is a leading veterinary care provider, with practices across the UK including a number of 24-hour veterinary centres and referral centres.
