Overview

Join to apply for the Night Maintenance Engineer role at Convertech - Double E Group. A recycling business based in Nottingham is looking for a night shift mechanical biased multi-skilled engineer to join the team. The shift pattern is nights 4 on 4 off, working hours are 42 hours with paid breaks and 20 days holiday. This is a permanent role based in Nottingham and pays £50,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed machinery
• Undertake machine start-up routines and non-routine planned shutdowns as required
• Carry out diagnosis and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime
• Communicate machine status and performance across the shift
• Work in partnership with the production team to ensure optimum output
• Work as part of a small team
• Shift handover and liaising with production staff

Qualifications & skills

• Minimum of a level 2 NVQ, BTEC, or City & Guilds equivalent
• Mechanical or Electrical bias; if Mechanical you must be electrically competent
• 3 years hands-on maintenance experience within mechanical engineering
• Be based in the UK with the relevant rights to work
