Qualifications

  • Experience as a concierge is a plus, but strong customer service or security background is equally valued.
  • Health & safety qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

  • Greet residents and visitors warmly and handle queries.
  • Address maintenance and emergency issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular site walk-arounds and monitor CCTV.
  • Manage parcel deliveries and ensure smooth communication.
  • Keep the concierge area presentable with basic cleaning tasks.
  • Identify H&S hazards on site patrol.
  • Provide local area recommendations to enhance residents’ experience.

Join Our Team as a Concierge!

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? Do you enjoy making a difference in people's day-to-day lives? We're looking for a proactive, customer-focused Concierge to join our dynamic team.

If you’re committed to maintaining high standards and resolving issues efficiently, this role is perfect for you.

  • Location: Portsmouth - PO1
  • Annual Salary: £26,666.64
  • Hours/Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 5pm-5am
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Welcome and Assist: Greet residents and visitors warmly, making them feel at home. Handle queries and assist with maintenance requests.
  • Problem-Solving: Address issues promptly, from maintenance to emergencies, and elevate concerns to the building manager as needed.
  • Security: Conduct regular site walk-arounds, check IDs, and monitor CCTV to maintain building safety.
  • Parcel Management: Handle and record deliveries for residents ensuring a smooth communication and pick up.
  • Maintain Presentation: Keep the concierge area and lobby looking presentable, some basic cleaning tasks, bin moving, sweeping leaves from entrances and other ad hoc duties as required.
  • Safety Checks: Looking out for H&S hazards on site patrol, all exits are clear and closed as well as anything else that may be out of place.
  • Local Knowledge: Offer advice and recommendations about the local area to enhance residents’ experience.
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience as a concierge is a plus, but a strong customer service or security background is equally valued.
  • A hands on approach and attitude with the willingness to provide the best environment possible for our residents.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Health & safety qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to handle responsibilities with care.
