A leading facilities management company in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated Chef to join their Catering team. The successful candidate will ensure food quality and safety while managing inventory and supporting the Senior Chef. The role requires working 5 nights a week from 21:00-03:00.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to attain high standards.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Food handling certificate preferred; assistance available if not.
• Background in contract catering ideal but not essential.
• Ideally City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or level 2 diploma in Professional Cookery.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety and food safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for food and service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality and taste are of the highest standard.
• Manage inventory of stock and order raw materials.
• Control budgets and minimize wastage.
• Maintain health and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Prepare and cook for clients and customers.
• Support the site in the absence of the Senior Chef.
