A nature conservation organization in Scotland seeks a passionate Nature Ranger to manage land and provide nature experiences. You will work with teams to ensure effective deer management and contribute to conservation efforts while engaging with guests. This role will see you stepping into a Nature Ranger position, where your primary responsibilities will be in acting as Keeper as part of the Sutherland Nature Team. You will deliver the operational requirements of land management and all aspects of the Land & Forestry Strategy Plan under the direction of the Sutherland Head Keeper. You will also partner with the Land & Forestry Coordinators, Field Ecologist, Third Party Ecologists, and Stakeholders, working cohesively to develop knowledge and understanding to have a positive impact on our Estates, being instrumental in our focus on the stewardship of ecosystems under our care.

You will be naturally hospitable and approachable, a confident communicator with both guests and staff alike, with a strong environmental and sustainability knowledge base. You will have a conservation background, ideally with some keeper experience, along with a natural ability to communicate your work and the long-term goals of the project. You’ll enjoy being guest-facing, thriving on sharing your passion for the work you do and the legacy WildLand looks to leave behind.
