Job Summary

Patient Services Advisor (phone and administration based duties) for the Symphony South group of GP practices, which includes Hamdon Medical Centre in Stoke sub Hamdon, Crewkerne Health Centre, Buttercross Health Centre in Somerton, Martock Surgery, South Petherton Medical Centre and Ilchester Surgery.

This unique role is for someone who enjoys a different location / team each week while performing the same core work, and will travel independently between sites across the Symphony South patch.

The position requires working across all these locations, so you must be happy to work in multiple sites, with different teams, and to travel independently between the GP practices.

Main Duties of the Job

The role involves a variety of responsibilities, such as assisting patients over the phone, face‑to‑face interactions at each location, managing appointments, handling repeat prescriptions and providing general administrative support to the teams you work with.

We have a 37.5‑hour vacancy to be worked Monday to Friday (08:00‑18:30). This can be one full‑time post or two part‑time posts.

The rate of pay is £12.65 to £12.95 per hour, with starting salaries offered based on previous experience.
