Overview

Multi Skilled Operative Various Roles (Hampshire/West Sussex) – Multi Skilled Ground Worker / Bricklayer, Multi Skilled Floor Layer, Multi Skilled Plumber, Multi Skilled Carpenter. We require a Multi Skilled Operative with a bias in the relevant trades to assist in the day to day planned works for our Social Housing client. Operatives must be able to work on their own, use their initiative as well as within a team, and deliver works to a good standard. Flexibility with regard to travelling is required. Works will be in and around Hampshire / Berkshire, East and West Sussex. Applicants may be asked to join an OOH rota where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Multi Skilled Ground Worker / Bricklayer: perform ground works and fencing; operate with a groundwork/bricklaying bias to support planned works.
• Multi Skilled Floor Layer: vinyl / carpet laying; ensure floor preparation and installation to a high standard.
• Other duties in relation to flooring, including wet room cove up floor work and related tasks such as light carpentry and basic plumbing as described below.
• Multi Skilled Plumber: contribute to plumbing tasks across East and West Sussex; join an OOH rota if required.
• Multi Skilled Carpenter: contribute to carpentry tasks across East and West Sussex; join an OOH rota if required.

Ideal skills

• Multi Skilled Ground Worker / Bricklayer: Ground works; Fencing.
• Multi Skilled Floor Layer: Vinyl / Carpet laying; Wet room cove up floor inc. welding; Some carpentry – over boarding floors; Some plumbing – removal of WCs and Basins.
• Multi Skilled Plumber: Plumbing bias appropriate to housing maintenance work.
• Multi Skilled Carpenter: Carpentry bias appropriate to housing maintenance work.
