We have a fantastic opportunity for an Multi Skilled Aftercare Technician in our Leeds construction business.

Location: Leeds/ Yorkshire

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

Kier Construction is looking for an experienced andproactive Aftercare Technician to join our team in a key role that will work with clients across the Yorkshire area.

About the Role:

Our construction business deliver projects from £10M - £80m in value, building schools, healthcare facilities, heritage projects, commercial buildings and more for key clients.

As an AftercareTechnician you'll play a vital role in ensuring our projects are successfully closed out and our clients remain satisfied long after handover. You'll be responsible for investigating and resolving post-handover issues on-site, carrying out remedial works where possible, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

This is a key role in maintaining long-term client relationships and upholding Kier reputation for quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess reported defects and decide appropriate remedial actions. Where required liaise with product manufacturers and supply chain partners to investigate route causes.
  • Undertake minor works directly where practical, liaise with Kier construction teams and sub contractors to arrange larger or specialist works.
  • Ensure quality standards and the highest level of health and safety are maintained on remedial works undertaken.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, supply chain, project teams and the regional aftercare manager
  • Accurately log all work undertaken and maintain records of instructed works, completions and sign offs
What We're Looking For
  • A construction-relevant trade or technical qualification (e.g., HND, SVQ, City & Guilds).
  • CSCS Card
  • SSSTS (Desirable) - can upskill
  • PASMA / IPAF (Desirable)
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • IT literate and comfortable using laptop, tablet, phone and relevant software.
