Job Summary

Motorcycle and Scooter Technician required at Chester Rd Motorcycles – an opportunity to work with a long-established group and stable brands in the UK. The role involves overseeing daily operations and providing technical expertise in a dynamic workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of the motorcycle workshop.
  • Ensure the workshop is clean, organized and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Technical Duties
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in motorcycles.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software for advanced troubleshooting.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed jobs to ensure manufacturer standards.
  • Provide technical training and support to junior technicians.
Inventory & Equipment Management
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of spare parts and tools.
  • Maintain workshop equipment and recommend replacements or upgrades.
Reporting & Administration
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Dealer experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of motorcycle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems and diagnostics.
