Vehicle Technician – Franchised Motor Dealership, Blackpool, England, United Kingdom

We are looking for an experienced and talented Vehicle Technician to join our Aftersales Team at our Blackpool site. This role offers the opportunity to work in a franchised environment where high standards and customer service are paramount, along with investment in training, technology and tools.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with alternate Saturdays 8:30 am – 12:30 pm (paid as overtime).

Salary
£30,000 – £35,000, depending on experience. Senior and Master Technicians have increased earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Road‑test vehicles and diagnose problems as required.
  • Carry out inspections, repairs, services and check vehicles against manufacturer standards.
  • Complete MOT tests as per regulations and attend annual accreditation training.
  • Ensure paperwork is accurate and up to date.
  • Complete all jobs within agreed timeframes while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Work closely with the service reception team and parts team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Keep work area and protective clothing clean, tidy and in a safe condition.
Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Current MOT licence (advantageous).
  • Current clean UK driving licence.
