Job description

Due to retirement we have an excellent opportunity for a qualified Mortgage and Protection Advisor to join a supportive, established Team in Norfolk. We’re looking for an Advisor to guide clients from first meeting to completion. You’ll assess affordability, recommend suitable mortgage solutions, and deliver clear, compliant advice.

You’ll also identify protection needs ensuring clients and their families are fully protected.

A strong focus on customer service, compliance, and positive client outcomes is essential.

EARNINGS: £27,000 basic salary + generous commission.

JOB TYPE: Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their financial circumstances, goals, and mortgage needs.
• Provide clear, tailored advice on mortgage products, interest rates, and repayment options.
• Conduct affordability assessments in line with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to progress applications.
• Keep up to date with mortgage market trends, products, and compliance regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all advice meets FCA guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Working closely with colleagues in an office-based environment.

Requirements

• CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent qualification.
