A leading insurance provider in Watford is hiring for a vehicle technician role. You will diagnose and resolve issues on-site, ensuring minimal delay for customers. The position offers a base salary up to £40,000 with additional earnings potential and extensive benefits, including insurance discounts and a pension scheme. This is a permanent role in or around Watford or Boreham Wood.
You will be contracted to work 40 hours, four days a week, starting on a shift pattern with operating hours between 7am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday, with the opportunity to do overtime. You will be provided with a Green Flag vehicle and will start your day from your home. You will support customers by diagnosing issues and applying the appropriate repair or service to get their vehicle back on the move. Typical tasks include fuel-related issues, tyre repairs or changes, or battery replacements, with a full kit on board to assist. You will need to diagnose the problem and understand the requirements to resolve it, giving customers confidence to continue their journey without further interruptions.
