The Governors of Cummersdale School are looking to appoint a midday supervisor to join our staff at this happy, vibrant, village school. The role will involve supervising lunchtimes and ensuring the safety of the children both indoors and outdoors.

The position is 7.5 hours per week, term time only. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 11.45am – 1.15pm.

The position is permanent.

The successful candidate should enjoy working with children, promote healthy eating and encourage good behaviour at all times. There will be some indoor supervision whilst the children eat and some outdoor supervision whilst the children play. They should be able to communicate with children and adults clearly and in a calm and respectful manner, be reliable and trustworthy.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to appropriate checks and undertake an enhanced DBS and where appropriate to the post, a requirement to complete a childcare disqualification declaration.
