Position Start Date: Immediate | Contract Type: Part-time | Contract Term: Permanent

Hours: 10 hours per week (11:30am‑1:30pm Monday to Friday) – 39 weeks per year

Start date: as soon as possible after 05/01/2026, once safeguarding and pre‑employment checks have been completed.

Location: Rolph Church of England Primary School

We are looking for a new Midday Assistant to join our fantastic lunchtime team at Rolph. Our children are looking for an MDA who enjoys spending time with them, is able to supervise and organise games at lunchtime, can help them in the hall with their meals and who will ensure that lunchtimes are safe and happy for everyone.

Your role will also be to support the existing Catering Assistant in setting up for service, to clear up, and to ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy and ready for next day.

You do not need previous experience – training will be given as well as ongoing professional development. What you do need, is a passion to support children and the ability to work well as part of a team.
