Job introduction

St Nicolas C.E. Primary School are looking to appoint a friendly, reliable and caring Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our supportive school team.

Monday to Friday, 1 hour 10 minutes per day, 5 hours 50 minutes per week. 12:00 – 13:10.

Paid weeks per year:43.89(inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Start date:ASAP or 02/02/2026 – Upon satisfactory return of required checks

About the role

The successful candidate will help supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, both in the dining hall and on the playground, ensuring children are safe, happy and well cared for. Responsibilities will include encouraging positive behaviour, supporting inclusive play, and administering basic first aid when required (training can be provided if necessary).

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with children, is patient and calm, and able to work well as part of a team.
