The Role

  • Proven experience in data engineering with exposure to Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in Python programming with a focus on data manipulation and engineering.
  • A genuine interest in data science and a drive to expand your skillset into predictive analytics, machine learning, or statistical modelling.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a passion for optimising workflows.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a dynamic consultancy environment.
  • Data modelling experience and understanding of the Kimball methodology.
  • DP‑600 – Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.
  • DP‑700 – Fabric Data Engineer Associate.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and optimise high‑performance data pipelines and ETL workflows using tools like Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Implement scalable solutions to ingest, store, and transform vast datasets, ensuring data availability and quality across the organisation.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code tailored to data engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to support machine learning initiatives and advanced data modelling.
  • Drive innovation by researching and integrating the latest cloud‑based technologies and frameworks.
