A leading healthcare provider in Stafford is seeking a part-time Medical Secretary for the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Directorate. This role involves assisting consultants with administrative duties, managing patient appointments, and providing general secretarial support. Ideal candidates should possess excellent organisational skills, a strong understanding of Microsoft Office, as well as empathy and compassion for patients. The position offers a salary range of £24,937 to £26,598 annually, pro rata, within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Secretarial/clerical background required.
  • Experience in administration duties and dealing with the public.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.

Medical Secretary

This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Secretary within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Directorate at County hospital, University Hospitals of North Midlands that could be right for you.

The position is part time 30 hours - (Monday to Friday- days/hours to be agreed with successful candidate)

Main duties of the job

We are looking to appoint a Medical Secretary to the Obstetric & Gynaecology Secretarial Team. This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone who has experience of working in the NHS. You will have experience of administration duties and dealing with members of the public.
