About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Medical Laboratory Assistant in our Cervical Screening Department in Central London. Our laboratory in based in The Halo Building which is located close to St Pancras and Euston mainline stations. Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated staff for an MLA position. As the single provider for NHS Cervical Screening Service (hr‑HPV testing and cervical cytology) in the London Region we process in the region of 650, 000 tests per annum, in addition to providing a service to a number of independent clients. We are looking for someone who is positive and proactive and a good team player. Attention to detail is essential. You will be involved in sample receipt, data entry and processing of cervical screening samples. Ideally you will have some laboratory experience, but full training will be given. The successful applicant will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday 8am to 4.30pm.
