Overview

Trinity Springs is hiring Caregivers/ Med Techs (CNA/ HHA/ PCA) to join our team in Oxford, FL. This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. Position: Caregiver/ Med Tech. You will prepare and administer medication and perform cares for our residents, and provide routine daily nursing care and services following guidelines and regulations. You will work with CNAs & Nurses to care for residents’ Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing, and medication administration while promoting dignity and independence. Med Tech Certification must be approved by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).

Position Type: Full-Time, with varying scheduling including every other weekend.

Shifts Available:
Evenings: Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Nights: Monday - Friday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Wage Range: $16.00 - $18.75 /hour depending on experience

Shift Differential:
Evenings $1.00 /hour
Nights $2.00 /hour

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
  • Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
  • Document services performed on computerized charting system.
  • Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
  • Assist with personal care including shampooing, showering/bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
  • Complete light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
Caregiver Qualifications:
  • Must have 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Must have 1 year of caregiving/med passing experience.
  • Med Tech Certification approved through AHCA.
  • Be able to provide proof of original certification and all subsequent annual 2-hour training.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
