Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Balance of Plant

Location – King’s Lynn

Contract Type – Permanent

Your Tasks

  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and corporate safety, health, and environmental standards through effective operational practices
  • Develop and implement risk-based maintenance strategies to optimise asset availability and commercial performance
  • Plan and control discipline-specific maintenance budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and cost-effective delivery
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation, identifying opportunities to adopt best practices from across RWE Generation
  • Lead, engage, and develop team members to foster a positive culture and build future capability within the O&M function
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.

Your profile

  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in asset maintenance within your discipline area
  • Senior-level maintenance expertise with the ability to influence, collaborate, and work effectively within team environments
  • HNC/Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally with professional body membership
  • Able to manage shifting priorities with a detail-oriented, analytical, and commercially focused mindset
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience working in multi-disciplinary environments
  • Proven ability to manage complex plant issues and provide expert technical guidance to operations and maintenance teams.
