Responsibilities
  • Undertake HVAC, mechanical, and Public Health system design on a variety of building projects, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare drawings using AutoCAD; experience with Revit is advantageous.
  • Undertake energy modelling using IES software, including Part L compliance, NZC, Overheating, TM54, and BREEAM HEA04 calculations.
  • Conduct SAP calculations to produce domestic EPCs.
  • Support project delivery from concept through detailed design and coordination.
  • Survey and report on mechanical systems in existing buildings.
  • Monitor and report on contracts in progress on site.
  • Undertake witnessing duties during project handovers.
  • Collaborate with clients, design team members, suppliers, and contractors to deliver technically sound, efficient solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Brookbanks QA procedures and other company processes.
