Qualifications

Hours

39 hours per week, 7:00 am – 5:15 pm, Monday to Thursday; flexibility required for on‑site work.

About the Role

I am looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a mixed role of Assembly and on‑site Fitting at an Industrial Manufacturer based in Leeds. The assembly work is intricate, requiring dexterity, while the on‑site work involves travelling to different sites to fit various units.

Required Skills
  • Previous Mechanical Assembly or Mechanical Fitting experience.
  • Ability to follow written engineering/technical drawings.
  • Experience with Sheet Metal (advantageous).
  • Proficiency using hand tools, air tools, and rivet guns.
  • Site Fitting knowledge beneficial.
  • Experience in site duct work.
  • CSCS card holder if possible.
  • Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques (heavy lifting involved).
