Materials Assistant (Bank) – Circle Health Group

Join the Materials department at Kings Oak & Cavell Hospitals in Enfield. This bank role works on an “as and when required” basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and covering for staff in leave or absence.

Location: Kings Oak & Cavell Hospitals, Enfield (Circle Health Group)

Shifts: Bank shifts

Salary: Up to £12.40 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Duties of this role
  • Active member of the Materials Department, involved in day‑to‑day running.
  • Provide an effective, high‑quality materials management service to all internal customers.
  • Ensure stock availability through correct order processing and replenishment of pre‑approved stock and products for central stores or hospital departments.
  • Maintain all departmental paperwork and files accurately and in good order.
  • Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
  • Minimum of GCSE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in PC use, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
