A leading aerospace company located in East Cowes is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to manage the weekly Master Production Schedule and balance demand with supply. The role requires strong data management skills, experience in supply chain environments, and proficiency in Excel. Ideal candidates will have a good standard of education including GCSE maths and bring valuable insights to the management team to improve scheduling processes. Based in our Manufacturing Centres of Excellence here in East Cowes, and reporting into the SCM Planning Manager, the Master Production Scheduler will be responsible for the management of the weekly Master Production Schedule (MPS) in order to balance demand & supply, and maintain 52 weeks visibility. They will orchestrate the cross‑functional MPS activities following the GKN Aerospace standard, including running site MPS meetings. They will also provide clear communication of enablement issues affecting MPS success, and be responsible for the generation and communication of MPS related KPI’s.
