We're looking for a creative, enthusiastic volunteer to help us spread the word about our wonderful Museum.
This is an opportunity for someone who's interested in history, is a team player and has a knack for getting creative with publicity. Duties would involve coming up with ideas to promote the Museum and its exhibits, helping to manage our social media accounts, working with our small team to plan and publicise special events, develop strategies to recruit and retain the volunteers and Friends of Minehead Museum who are crucial to the Museum's success. There's no need for professional marketing experience – just a bit of creativity and a willingness to get stuck in. If you're comfortable using social media, enjoy writing or taking photos, or are simply a confident communicator, this could be the role for you. It's totally flexible – whether you've got a few hours a week or just want to help on occasional events, we'd love to hear from you.
