Salary Range: £28K - £30K (dependent on experience) + Company Benefits

Position Overview

CYFOR is recruiting for an experienced and passionate Marketing Executive with a can‑do attitude to join our rapidly growing team. Supporting the Marketing Manager, you’ll work in a collaborative and supportive environment, contributing to and developing integrated marketing campaigns that raise awareness of our Digital Forensics and Cyber Security services.

You will be accountable for creating and producing creative content such as blog posts and social media posts, supporting multiple departments across the company. Reporting Structure

You will report to the Marketing Manager. This role has no direct reports.

Place of Work

This role will typically be based at CYFOR, Benjarron House, Middleton, M24 1SW.

  • Own and execute the LinkedIn content strategy, including planning, drafting, scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Create monthly content calendars and produce engaging social assets (graphics, videos, carousels).
  • Take creative briefs from concept to completion and produce written content across blogs, emails, social media, website pages, brochures and ads.
  • Maintain an organised library of up-to-date, on‑brand marketing materials.
  • Contribute new, creative ideas to marketing campaigns and commercial initiatives.
  • Conduct keyword and competitor analysis, optimise website content for SEO, and support the creation of high‑value content (blogs, guides, case studies).
  • Maintain website content and monitor analytics (SERanking, GA4, Search Console) to drive improvements.
  • Build and send email campaigns, maintain audience segmentation, ensure data hygiene, run A/B test, and report on campaign performance.
  • Understand the USPs of each business unit and support departments with materials, including brochures, presentations, and case studies.
  • Work with the Quality Team on accreditation‑related communications.
  • Produce marketing reports and highlight insights to support ongoing strategy and planning.
  • Ensure brand consistency, stay up to date with industry developments and trends.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with project admin and campaign execution.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, tone, and attention to detail across all outputs.
Experience, Knowledge & Requirements

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Previous experience in a marketing role, ideally within a B2B environment.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience managing business social media channels, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency with Canva and confidence in producing branded marketing materials.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently, with minimal supervision.
  • High level of professionalism, communication skills, and team engagement.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, basic Excel).
Nice to Haves

These aren’t essential, just bonus points if we find a unicorn:

  • Video editing skills (especially for short‑form social content).
  • Experience running PPC campaigns (Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads).
  • Background or interest in B2B technical, IT, or cyber security sectors.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Dotdigital, Google Analytics, SERanking, and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
