Marketing Assistant

As we continue to grow, we are searching for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join us at our Head Office in Southend-on-Sea.

The Person

You will be a people person aligned to the Gateway brand. You will be a great communicator with a track record of delivering the best client and customer experience possible. Promoting the brand and creating new opportunities will come as second nature to you.

The Job

• Contributing towards the overall creative process, from brief to delivery
• Overseeing our social media output, creating engaging, relevant content in advance as well as managing our social media accounts
• Spearheading our events calendar confidently, taking the lead on the preparation and execution of the set up and marketing materials for each event we host/attend
• Ensuring all marketing collateral is correctly branded to company guidelines
• Video editing informative company videos for internal and external purposes
• Continual quality control of the company’s websites
• Providing SEO support for the team as required
• Preparing and organising weekly marketing mailers
• Developing fresh ideas for the company’s marketing strategy
• Supporting other departments with their marketing enquiries
• Weekly reporting on the company’s current marketing campaigns
• Travel to other offices (infrequent, but necessary as required)
• Other ad-hoc administrative duties, as required

The perfect candidate:

• Is passionate and creative, with a real interest in marketing
• Is well-versed with creative applications (e.g. Adobe CC) but can also quickly adapt to unfamiliar software
• Has a creative eye with the confidence to put your ideas forward
• Writes excellent copy with a clear message, whilst staying on-brand
• Fosters a strong can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently as required
• Possesses excellent written and verbal skills
• Is highly motivated and is able to use their initiative

What You Need

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing (property experience is a bonus)

Job location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Competitive with an annual review
Annual leave: 23 days plus bank holidays
