We’re looking for a hands‑on, safety focused Marine Operative to join our busy and customer facing marina team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied and dynamic environment supporting daily marina, boatyard, and plant operations.

This is a varied, mixed role where no two days look the same, whilst ensuring we deliver excellent customer service, safe and efficient boatyard operations and general marina duties. Including:

  • Lifting and launching vessels using our 70 T Boat Hoist.
  • Assisting with boatyard operational tasks.
  • Berthing boats using the VHF radio.
  • Pressure washing vessels.
  • Operating a Forklift.
  • Towing boats using the marina launch.
  • Taking payments and completing invoicing.
  • Serving fuel and ensuring safe fuel‑handling procedures.
  • Providing office support as needed.

What we’re looking for while full training is provided, the ideal candidate will bring:

  • General knowledge of commercial or leisure vessels.
  • IT literacy.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to meet health & safety standards and pass all in‑house training.
  • Experience operating plant/equipment (e.g., 70 ton hoist, forklift truck).
Note: Hours of work are 40 hours per week, with weekend shifts required on a rota basis.
