Job summary

A leading precision engineering firm in Hinckley is seeking skilled CNC Operators. Offering either 4pm to 2am or 9pm to 7am shifts, you will set up and operate multi-axis machines, ensuring quality control. Candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths, as well as relevant engineering qualifications. A proactive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential. About the role

We are looking to recruit skilled CNC Operators who are passionate about Precision Engineering and looking for their next role. The positions are based at our site in Hinckley, working 4pm to 2am or 9pm to 7am, Monday to Thursday (40 hours in total).

Key Responsibilities include
  • Ensuring the set-up and operation of various multi axis mill turn, bed type and CNC grinding machines usingFanuc, Mazak, and Studer language andin accordance with H&S regulations and the process control plan
  • Running secondary operation machines when required
  • Using measuring equipment to ensure components meet the required specification
  • Performing any other duties that may be required from time to time
What we are looking for
Qualifications
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Math’s.
  • Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline.

  • A willingness to learn new skills and share ideas and knowledge.
