About The Role

Mandarin-speaking workers in Europe – especially in construction, manufacturing, and small businesses – represent a fast-growing community with strong remittance needs. The Community Manager will be the bridge between Paysend and Chinese diaspora communities, helping workers discover, trust, and use Paysend to support their families back home.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Engage withChinese associations, local organizations, and offline worker groups in countries like Hungary, Poland, Italy, France, and Serbia
  • Promote referral and affiliate campaigns to drive adoption among migrant workers
  • Create Chinese-language content (posts, guides, testimonials) highlighting Paysend’s benefits
  • Act as a community advocate, providing feedback to internal teams on user needs and local barriers
  • Build and manage Paysend’s presence in WeChat groups, QQ, and diaspora forums
  • Support new users in onboarding and troubleshooting, ensuring a seamless first-transfer experience
What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role
  • Native Mandarin speaker, fluent in English
  • Remittance experienceis a big plus
  • Understanding of Chinese diaspora life in Europe – ideally with prior experience working in or with migrant communities
  • Experience in off-line and on-line community management, marketing and user growth (WeChat/Chinese diaspora engagement strongly preferred)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: comfortable working independently, testing ideas, and showing results
