Job summary

A luxury hospitality provider in Ottershaw is seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to manage accounts, oversee monthly payroll, and support month-end processes. The ideal candidate will have a level of qualification in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA, along with strong Excel skills and experience in Month End processes. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Month End processing and preferably producing management accounts.
  • Experience in payroll is advantageous.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy and accountability.

  • Preparing Month End journals for both sites.

Position: Management Accountant
Location: Foxhills Club & Resort - Ottershaw, Surrey
Type: Full-time, on-site

Responsibilities:

  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations for both properties (Foxhills Club & Resort and Farleigh Golf Club)
  • Preparing Month End journals for both sites
  • Running the payroll process for both sites in conjunction with the Human Resources team, Finance Manager and Finance Director
  • Review Supplier invoices, including checking they're coded to the correct line and are within budget and produce variance reports
  • Review Supplier account reconciliations to assist the Purchase Ledger Clerk to resolve any issues.
  • Become knowledgeable of company operating systems and databases
  • Assist the Assistant Accountant and Purchase Ledger Clerk as required and participate in their development
  • Work with the Finance Manager to develop analytical reporting from databases to complement working.

Requirements:

  • Part qualified/Fully qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA or QBE
  • Previous experience in Month End processing and preferably producing management accounts
  • Experience in payroll is advantageous
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong math, typing and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy and accountability
  • Able to travel to office every day, including visiting Farleigh Golf Club, Croydon, Surrey CR6 9PE as required.
