Job Summary
The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and related financial reports, including profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flows, variance analysis, key performance indicators, and supporting commentaries in line with agreed SLAs and reporting deadlines. The role plays a key part in delivering accurate financial insights that drive informed business decisions.

Location: Blackburn - Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and other financial reporting.
- Conduct variance analysis and produce key performance indicators.
- Provide supporting commentaries to stakeholders.
- Ensure reports comply with SLAs and deadlines.
- Collaborate with other teams across the business to integrate financial insights.
Qualifications
- Full or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within management accounting.
- Strong accounting and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with accounting systems.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
