A leading energy company in the UK is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its City Energy Solutions team. This role focuses on maintaining District Heating Networks through planned and reactive maintenance in various plant facilities. Candidates should possess an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering and a full UK driving license. City Energy Solutions (CES) is a rapidly growing business. We generate electricity and provide heat directly to customers homes from our energy centres via our district heating networks. CES is at an exciting and important time in its development, and we are looking for people with enthusiasm and energy to help us build a safe and sustainable business for the future.
Right now, we’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our CES team based in the Southwest of England. Here you will be responsible for the corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance in all areas of the process including District Heating plant rooms, pumping stations and control systems, District Heating pipework networks, heat metering equipment and boilers.
You'll also assist the Operations & Maintenance lead engineers to help plan, co-ordinate and complete maintenance activities, both mechanical and electrical, that impact/are likely to impact on the operational performance of the District Heating Network. The aim is to reduce unplanned unavailability keeping our customers on supply 24/7 and improve the performance of the assets while ensuring all major costs are identified early in the process to assist with Business planning.

The successful candidate will join a Call Out Rota 1 week in 5, with a standby retainer. Overtime for callouts will be paid in addition to this.
