MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (Pharmaceutical Manufacture – Equipment, Utilities, Facilities)

Do you have experience as a Site Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Field Service Engineer? Are you looking for a new role with a highly successful specialist pharmaceutical company? A manufacturer of specialist pharmaceuticals are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join the team at their site in Guildford. The role will be part of a small engineering team and will involve maintenance, installation and repair of facilities, equipment and utilities on site. This is a permanent, full time role. Predominantly standard day shifts 7AM-3PM.

Role Overview
  • Responsible for maintenance, installation, asset management & scheduling activities on site.
  • Responsible for Facilities, Equipment and Utilities used in manufacture and analysis of pharmaceuticals, including Asset Management and Scheduling.
  • First Line maintenance and repair as well as liaising with OEMs and external contractors to avoid downtime.
  • £55kpa , potential for negotiation DOE.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Able to work within a small team and independently, driving multi disciplinary conversations and solutions.
  • Any prior experience of working in Clean Room Conditions and with any of the foloinwg is highly beneficial : FDG Synthesisers, Cyclotrons, Hot Cells & any scientific equipment or instruments.
Potential Ideal Backgrounds
  • Site Engineer or similar role at a cGMP Manufacturing site.
  • Field Service Engineer or Similar with an OEM manufacturing scientific equipment.
  • Commissioning/Qualification/Installation Engineer.
