Estates Services Maintenance Crafts Person (Mechanical / Plumbing)

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Crafts Person (Mechanical / Plumbing) to work within our Estates Services team. The successful candidate will be qualified to a minimum City & Guilds level 2 (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Plumbing / Building maintenance and possess a group A full current driving licence. Experienced in all types of building maintenance, you will have proven knowledge of health and safety, good communication skills and remain calm under pressure. A CSCS card would also be an advantage.

Working a 37.5 hr week you would be working across sites the Trust manages throughout the region; a van is provided for use whilst on Trust business.

As part of the Estates team you will also be required (following a period of induction) to participate in an on‑call rota outside normal working hours; additional payments will be made for this. To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to get fully vaccinated against COVID.
