A leading educational service provider in Sunderland is seeking a Year 3 Trainee Educational Psychologist to join a passionate team. The position offers a salary range of £46,525 to £56,540 per annum, with options for hybrid working. Ideal candidates will hold or work toward a postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology and be committed to enhancing children's educational achievement and emotional well-being. Main Scale Educational Psychologist – Year 3 Trainee educational psychologist. Salary: £46,525 to £56,540 per annum, extending up to £61,848. Working hours: 37 hours per week (flexible patterns considered).

You will join a small, passionate and committed team that advocates effective child‑centred, evidence based practices. As an Educational Psychologist you will provide purposeful assessment linked to educational psychological principles and research, incorporate early intervention strategies, systemic consultative approaches, psychometric investigation and therapeutic techniques. You will deliver statutory responsibilities and a well‑received service offer to schools, positively influencing children’s educational achievement, emotional well‑being and independence.
• Hold a Post Graduate Degree in Educational Psychology and be or be working toward a post‑graduated qualification in Education Psychology.
