Overview

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our dedicated team in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the production process, working within a dynamic environment that values quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role within our Quartzcoil team.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out quick changeovers between projects
  • Follow company procedures and standards to consistently produce high-quality products
  • Reduce waste wherever possible and support lean manufacturing practices
  • Meet production targets while maintaining focus on efficiency and quality
  • Proactively seek more efficient methods of manufacture
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Previous experience in the coil industry (e.g., hand insulation or coil manufacturing) is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong numeracy and measurement skills, with experience using micrometres, Vernier callipers, and go/no-go gauges
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high standards
