Job description
Logistics Administrator

Our client is a UK‑based distributor that imports products into the UK from across the globe. With an annual turnover in excess of £80 m, they are a leader in their field and are now looking for a Logistics Administrator to join their team.

As part of the logistics team, you will report directly to the Logistics Director, receive full training in all areas of the business and ultimately be responsible for overseeing the import of goods from around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with suppliers to organise the safe and timely import of products
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Organise freight (air, sea, rail, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot logistics issues
  • Carry out associated administrative tasks such as data processing and analysis
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and organise workloads
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team
  • Any experience within logistics or transport would be an advantage but not essential
Working Hours & Location

Working hours for this role are Monday–Friday 9 am‑5 pm. The role is based in Worksop, so you need to live within commutable distance.
