About the Role

We are recruiting to help meet the growing needs of our local population. Specialist Pathway Development

We actively encourage you to develop subspecialty interests and lead innovative pathways in areas such as:

  • Asthma and biologics therapy
  • Lung cancer and EBUS
  • Sleep and domiciliary ventilation
  • Community respiratory MDT support

We welcome informal visits and discussions. Contact Dr Robert Allcock (Clinic Lead) at atrobert.allcock@nhs.net or call 01793 646315, or Sarah Orr, Manager for Respiratory and Cardiology, at sarah.orr4@nhs.net.

  • Deliver respiratory expertise “upstream” via community MDTs and upgraded Advice & Guidance.
  • Participate in and help expand our pleural and EBUS clinics and run a daily respiratory hot clinic.
  • Take part in the general medical on‑call rota, with potential for a respiratory specialty on‑call.
  • Engage in teaching, clinical audit, continuing medical education, and service development.
  • Support and supervise junior colleagues, contribute to clinical governance, and risk management.
